Event Description

This event is inspired by the Great Central Fair of 1864 that was held in Philadelphia as a fundraiser and showcased some of the latest industrial technological advancements. In 2016, historic Philly institutions will showcase their own game-changing, late-19th-century scientific objects or advancements along with context about how those objects would have inspired awe and wonder in people during that time period.
