Event Description
College graduates come out of school with relatively similar resumes. So how do employers choose entry-level workers to invest time, effort and training? We’ve spoken to many business leaders around the world and international experience looks great for several reasons.

1. Independence. Showing that you have ventured out into the world without the safety net of your family shows a strong sense of independence, which is essential for any management position.
2. Culturally agile. In the modern work environment employees and managers have to work with and in teams from many cultural backgrounds. International work experience shows future employers you can work in diverse environments.
3. Interesting. No employer wants a bland employee. International work experience is, if nothing else, a conversation starter. These are experiences that many of your peers will never have and it will distinguish you. You can claim the coveted “expat” title.
4. Experience. Everyone will tell you that you need more experience, but without a job, how can you get work experience? Internships are the most common solution. The problem with domestic internships is that you are the lowest of the low and not usually trusted with anything important (unless your bosses coffee and dry cleaning is a life and death situation). International internships give young graduates a unique opportunity to do important work. Your background, education and language skills make you an essential and unique part of the team. Which gives you the opportunity to do something meaningful that no one would trust you with back home.

Join us to learn about the opportunities abroad and what positions are available.

P.S. We’ll have donuts.

All majors are welcome.
