Event Description
Deborah Lipstadt, PhD, is an American historian and author who teaches Modern Jewish and Holocaust Studies at Emory University. Author of "Denying the Holocaust" and "The Eichmann Trial," Lipstadt studies contemporary use of Holocaust references in politics and Jewish history.

Deborah Lipstadt is an incredible scholar of the Holocaust and famously had to prove in court that the Holocaust happened because she was brought up on libel charges by a famous Holocaust denier. She has appeared on "Good Morning America," "NPR's Fresh Air," the BBC, "Charlie Rose Show," and is a frequent contributor to and is widely quoted in a variety of newspapers and journals including the Chronicle of Higher Education, The Washington Post and The New York Times.
