Mark your calendars today! Drexel School of Education’s Critical Conversations in Urban Education lecture series will host Dr. Nichole D. Pinkard, Associate Professor, College of Computing and Digital Media at DePaul University in Chicago and Founder of Digital Youth Network, on Thursday, April 6th, 2017 at 5:00 pm at the Bossone Research Center’s Mitchell Auditorium located at 3120 Market St., Philadelphia, PA 19104. Dr. Pinkard will discuss how educational technology can be used to close the opportunity gaps that abound in formal and informal learning spaces. She will examine the components of equitable learning infrastructures within urban communities to inspire full participation in today’s technology-driven society.
