Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of the activity, participants should be able to:
- Discuss cognitive and psychiatric symptoms associated with Parkinson’s disease (PD), Parkinson’s disease dementia (PDD), and dementia with Lewy bodies (DLB).
- Appreciate dysfunction of fronto-striatal circuitry and interconnectedness of motor, cognitive and psychiatric symptoms in PD.
- Discuss the utility of neuropsychological testing in characterizing cognition and psychiatric symptoms in PD.
