Event Description

At the May Urban Sustainability Forum, join us to consider how to make green space more accessible in our city, particularly in traditionally underserved communities.

The Academy will partner with the Mid-Atlantic branch of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (region III) to conduct workshops and small group discussions on perceived safety in open spaces as well as beautification’s impact on cultural preservation. The evening session offers an open conversation on the transformation of public space to best serve our communities.
