Crisis As Opportunity: How Biomedical Engineers Can Transform American Health Care
Start Date: 5/3/2013Start Time: 4:00 PM
End Date: 5/3/2013End Time: 5:30 PM

Event Description
Chuck Hadley, general partner at Cardinal Partners and chairman of the board at Bioconnect Systems and Fluidnet, will discuss how America’s health care is a mess: unfair, expensive, generally poor quality, and – sometimes – downright dangerous. But forces are at work to change all that. A long-entrenched dysfunctional incentive structure is giving way to forces that promise to transform medical care delivery. Biomedical engineers can catalyze this process, creating the tools to make health care better, faster, and cheaper. For more info, please visit www.biomed.drexel.edu.
