Event Description
It's the moment you hoped for when you were a Drexel student—we're taking over the Main Building and throwing a huge celebration!
Experience four floors of fun and entertainment! We've turned the old halls into popular Philadelphia neighborhoods featuring themed food and beverage stations, including the Italian Market, Chinatown and Rittenhouse Square. Start off in the Great Court and pick up your map—you'll need it to navigate the transformation!
Dance the night away in the Great Court where the DJ will be taking requests all night long! Take a break at the café-style seating and coffee areas while sampling local fare. Step up to the bar and sip the infamous Dragontini signature cocktail. Take the elevator or the stairs and explore!
Venture to the 2nd floor and sample a selection of appetizers, carving stations, gourmet sides and desserts. Eat with chopsticks or sample your favorite steak “cheez wit.” Afterward, throw on a hat, mustache or cheap sunglasses and pop into the photo booth for some funny faced photos of you and your friends. Glance over the railing and catch a glimpse of what's happening around you and where you’ll head next!
Looking for something a little more subdued? Then the A. J. Drexel Picture Gallery on the 3rd floor is for you! Stroll into the piano bar, where you'll find lounge seating and reserved tables. Sample wine and cheese pairings while listening to jazz and show tunes. Feel free to sing along! Relax and stay awhile.
The 4th floor is for the young and the young at heart! After hours is the name of the game here, with a playlist created by our young alumni, flights of craft beers from alumni purveyors, blackboard food and beverage specials, Wii games, and all your friends and classmates.
See a little or see it all! No matter where you find yourself, there will be plenty of fun and memorable times with your friends and classmates. And before you say goodnight, be sure to get your photo with The Water Boy and stop by the “Recovery Room” to pick up your takeaway for the ride home.
