Event Description
Retirement can be an exhilarating and freeing experience, but it can also be full of uncertainty. In addition to financial planning for retirement, the non-financial dimensions of life during retirement are also important. Human Resources is partnering with A Healthier U and HealthAdvocate to introduce retirement planning that extends beyond the financial domain. Faculty and professional staff members who plan to retire in the near future are encouraged to attend
Designed to help participants imagine their life after retirement, the one-hour program, Envisioning Retirement: A Lifestyle Planning Seminar, will include the phases of retirement from pre-retirement planning to the reorientation phase, the emotional stages of retirement and elements for building a new identity after retirement.
These seminars are open to all faculty and professional staff members and will be held on:
Thursday, May 22nd: 9:00 - 10:00 a.m.
Wednesday. May 28th: 3:30 - 4:30 p.m.
Register via Career Pathway to Ensure a Seat:
- Log in to Drexel One
- Select the Employee tab
- Select Career Pathway under the Development & Certifications heading
- Under the Learning tab, select Browse for Training to search for the workshop by course name, or search for the workshop on the Events Calendar
- Choose the workshop you want to attend, then click Request
