Event Description

The Judaic Studies program of Drexel University presents "Mame-Loshn Af Mutertog." Two generations of Yiddish researchers will participate in a symposium on the contribution of Yiddish to modern Jewish life and history. Panelists will discuss Yiddish poetry, theater, religious literature, cartoons and organizational and family life. The panel discussion will be followed by a Yiddish Sing-Along led by Alexander Botwinik (choir director and Yiddish instructor).
