Please join John A. Fry President, Drexel University as we proudly present A. J. Drexel Autism Institute’s Mobile REACH (Resources and Education for Autism and Community Health) Thursday, May 29, 2014 2 - 4 p.m. 2 p.m. Presentation followed by Community Celebration and Tours RSVP by Friday 5.23.14 A.J. Drexel Autism Institute recently created a custom-outfitted van, called Mobile REACH, to extend autism outreach and clinical research activities into the community. Mobile REACH – for Resources and Education for Autism and Community Health – embodies the A. J. Drexel Autism Institute’s mission to address autism as a public health issue – providing access to information and services for autism, and doing so at a wide-reaching scale.
Mobile REACH will travel to individuals and families who aren’t able to easily reach West Philadelphia. The mobile outreach unit will travel throughout Philadelphia, the Delaware Valley and into suburban and rural Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware areas and will also go to community outreach events to help people learn about the A. J. Drexel Autism Institute, resources, services and supports available to individuals with autism spectrum disorders and their families. |
