Children on the autism spectrum and their families are invited to experience the Academy and its new exhibit, Tarantulas: Alive and Up Close, before the crowds.

We are opening early just for you so your family can experience the museum with fewer people and less noise. You can visit with the dinosaurs, explore Outside In, and wander through the dioramas at your own pace. We will have special hands-on science activities to celebrate the opening of our newest exhibit, Tarantulas: Alive and Up Close.

Museum Stories (images and descriptions of our exhibits) are available to download from our website here: http://www.ansp.org/visit/plan/accessibility to provide you and your children with visual and verbal information about your upcoming visit to the museum. This event is Pay What You Wish, and registration is NOT required.
