DREXEL AFTER DARK Saturday, May 2, 2015; 6-10:30 PM Main Building, 32nd & Market Streets
We’re bringing back last year’s favorite party, but this time we’re taking a trip down memory lane! Lava lamps and poodle skirts abound as we celebrate “Drexel Through The Decades.” Enjoy three floors of fun with themed food and drink stations that will help you remember your yesteryears at Drexel, Hahnemann Hospital and Woman’s Medical College Hospital! The Great Court will be transformed into a 1970s dance club, complete with a disco ball. Dance the night away with the live band, She Said Sunday, who will be playing your favorites from the ‘60s to today. Witness the transformation of the A.J. Drexel Picture Gallery into a lounge, showcasing classic silent films from the 1920s and then stop by the nostalgic candy buffet where your favorites wait to be devoured. Grab some friends and visit the group-sized photo booth with props and attire to span years past, so there’s no need to bring your own legwarmers! No matter where the night takes you, you will have an unforgettable time!
TICKET OPTIONS CCI WINE & CHEESE RECEPTION: FREE GENERAL ADMISSION TO DREXEL AFTER DARK: $50.00 / GRADUATES OF CLASSES 2004 - 2015: $25.00 Includes entertainment, dinner buffets throughout the Main Building, a champagne toast, desserts and beverage stations serving our specialty cocktail, beer, wine and soft drinks.
