Event Description Everyone has a story. This workshop is designed to take your story and mold it into a piece that can be performed on stage. Focusing on the structure of the story, where you can add jokes, performance tips and really hone in on the best way to showcase your comedic voice. Bring a 3-5 minute story with you to the workshop.
Shannon DeVido is an accomplished actress, comedian and singer. She has appeared on The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore, Difficult People (Andrea Mumford), Good Beer (Shannon), Law and Order: SVU (Beth Myers) and Sesame Street. As a stand up, she's performed around the country, including opening for Jim Florentine. She can be seen performing around Philadelphia with her improv groups Wussy Riot and Hell on Wheels and sketch group Adventure Friends and in her web series, Stare at Shannon.
