Event Description
The first survey scale exhibition of treasures from the Fox Historic Costume Collection is on the horizon. From curating to mounting and mannequins, learn what it takes to bring an empty gallery to life with items from one of the finest teaching Collections in the country. Join us on Saturday, May 9 for the spring edition of Style Saturday, when Curator Clare Sauro gives a behind-the-scenes tour of the creation of Immortal Beauty: Highlights from the Robert & Penny Fox Historic Costume Collection, which will be in the Pearlstein Gallery this fall. Guests will get a sneak-peak of some of the items that will be included in the show. The event will begin at 10:00am in Westphal College’s URBN Center Lobby (3501 Market Street). Tickets are $50 and all proceeds benefit the Fox Historic Costume Collection. Click here to register.
