Research Priorities and Opportunities at the National Institute on Drug Abuse

Event Description
Join Kevin Conway, PhD, for a presentation on current research priorities and active funding opportunities at the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA). He will discuss NIDA’s scientific areas and topics of high programmatic importance, specific announcements for research applications, and major research projects and initiatives across scientific disciplines. Specific attention will be given to NIDA’s current work and interest in the areas of tobacco use and marijuana use among adolescents. In addition, there will be opportunities to discuss furthering the University’s existing collaborations with NIDA.

This presentation is open to the entire Drexel community, including faculty, research administrators, and students. Light refreshments will be served.
