Event Description
In the Fall of 2014, the University engaged PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) to analyze the research administration functions within the Office of Research. In response to the report findings, the research office has undertaken a multi-phase improvement plan to improve the research administration services offered by the University. In order to achieve the improvement that the University research community and administration desires, a productive partnership between the research community and research administration units is essential.
A Research Town Hall is being planned for research active faculty and staff to meet with representatives from the Office of Research and the Office of the Comptroller to detail the findings of the PwC report and lay out an action plan to address these findings. These representatives look forward to obtaining feedback from the research community on the research administration services provided by the University. Given the significance of the new research policies and procedures that are being put in place, I strongly encourage all research active faculty and staff to attend this town hall meeting on May 28th, 2015 from 3-4:30 PM in Hill Conference Room.
