End Date: 5/2/2017End Time: 6:30 PM

Event Description

There is tremendous growing interest in two-dimensional (2D) materials, which can offer enhanced properties for applications in energy conversion, energy storage, and optoelectronics. This symposium will highlight cutting-edge activities in the areas of 2D materials synthesis; structural, electronic, and optical characterization thereof; ions and defects in 2D materials; energy storage applications; and catalysis.

The symposium scheduled for May 1 and May 2 from 8:30 AM - 6:30 PM will consist of invited talks and a poster session, with the aim of reporting on the latest scientific developments, identifying new directions within the field, and facilitating the necessary intellectual exchange to foster new collaborations and regional team-based projects.
