Dragon '24 - Confronting Religious Intolerance and Islamophobia
Start Date: 5/17/2017Start Time: 6:00 PM
End Date: 5/17/2017End Time: 8:00 PM

Event Description
Our nation has historically struggled with religious intolerance. Especially since the tragic events of 9/11, and through recent political debates, we’ve seen a sharp rise in anti-Islamic sentiment and Islamophobia. By examining and challenging opposition to religious freedom, we can identify commonalities and ways to promote tolerance, inclusivity and acceptance in our communities.

The Dragon '24 invites you to be a part of a discussion with renowned activist and Howard University Professor, Dr. Altaf Husain, and community activist and Drexel Alumna Noor Afroza Jemy.
