Event Description
The School of Education's Games and Learning in Interactive Digital Environments (GLIDE) Lab is proud to host the 2018 Student Showcase on Thursday, May 31st, 2018.
At the showcase, you will learn about our current and past research and development initiatives in which we explore the design of immersive and interactive technologies to impact learning experiences, motivation to learn, teacher preparation, and identity exploration of learners in different settings.
You will also be able to interact with undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students studying computer science, education game design, animation, interactive digital media, and psychology who will share their experiences & showcase their work done as part of projects funded by local organizations and national agencies interested in advancing research on learning and technology.
Students interested in working in the GLIDE Lab can also meet with Lab Director Dr. Aroutis Foster and postdoctoral scholar Dr. Mamta Shah and discuss opportunities.
