Ask the Scientists: All About Water!
Start Date: 5/19/2020Start Time: 3:00 PM
End Date: 5/19/2020End Time: 3:30 PM

Event Description

Did you know that the Delaware River was named the 2020 River of the Year by American Rivers? Join fun, friendly educators and scientists from the Academy to ask anything about our awesome and important watershed in a fast-paced, interactive session directed by what YOU want to know! Family support is recommended to enable questioning, but kids of all ages are invited!

Meet Academy scientists from the Patrick Center for Environmental Research who work with the Delaware River Watershed Initiative — one of the many collaborations responsible for the river’s recovery. The health of the Delaware River is an extraordinary example of restoration and a model for equitable and innovative clean water solutions. But the work isn’t over — there is still important work underway.
