2nd Annual Symposium for Undergraduate Research in Psychology

Event Description

Undergraduates (psych majors, psych minors, all UGs interested in psychology):

  • Present your research poster—show off your work!
  • Prizes for top posters will be awarded!
  • Learn about the various research labs in the  Department of Psychology; learn how to apply to volunteer as a research assistant in a lab
  • Learn more about the importance of UG research for psychology grad school

For abstract submission form, contact Ms. Brittany Thomas (blt55@drexel.edu). Deadline to submit is Monday, April 29 @ 5 p.m.

3 - 4 p.m.: Panel talks:

  • “Insider Tips for Success as an Undergraduate Research Assistant”
  • “Taking Your Research to the Next Level: Graduate School Options & Admissions”

4 - 5:30 p.m.: Poster Session

Representatives of various Psych labs will be present to answer questions, describe ongoing research, and describe procedure to apply as a research assistant.
