Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of the activity, participants should be able to:

  • Describe the pathophysiologic mechanisms associated with cholestasis in the newborn
  • Identify strategies to treat total parenteral nutrition (TPN) associated liver disease in the neonate
  • Describe the appropriate work-up and management for extremity swelling: infection versus tumor
  • Describe the appropriate work-up and management of common pediatric orthopedic cases, i.e., scoliosis, hip dysplasia and clubfoot
