Event Description
Denise Juliano-Bult, MSW, Project Officer, Services Research Division in the National Institute of Mental Health will present at this grant workshop.
 
The workshop will address the following objectives:
• Overview of NIMH Mission and how it needs to be addressed in proposals
• Priorities in Specific Services Research Areas: autism; implementation
• Study designs for intervention effectiveness vs. implementation vs. research on systems and policies
• Increasing the competitiveness of proposals that are mainly qualitative in nature
• Innovation in NIMH-Funded Research
• A Reviewer’s Perspective on Do’s and Don’ts. Top things that bother and thrill reviewers.
• The ALACRITY P50 center mechanism
• Complying with NDAR requirements on non-clinical and qualitative study designs
