Event Description
Graduate Student Day, hosted by the Graduate Student Association GSA, Student Life and the Graduate College, will take place on Thursday, May 31, 2018 4-6pm in the Mitchell Auditorium follow by a reception in the Bossone Research Center Lobby. This special occasion recognizes the outstanding contributions of graduate students and their faculty and professional staff mentors to the mission of the University especially within the classroom, lab, community and beyond.
During the celebratory event, the Graduate College recognizes high-achieving graduate students with Graduate Student Excellence Awards across disciplines in mentorship (sponsored by the Drexel University's Office of Undergraduate Research), service, research and teaching. Likewise, the GSA honors outstanding graduate student leaders, student organizations, and faculty and professional staff mentors with awards. A reception with hors d'oeuvres and refreshments then follows.
