To "sign-in" and get (1) CEO LEAD credit towards certification, send an email to CEOLEAD@drexel.edu and include the following details in your email: 1) First/Last Name, 2) Student ID#, 3) Drexel Email Address, and 4) Name/Date of Workshop/Webcast.“Read to Lead” is a leadership book club open to any student, especially student organization leaders, and Drexel faculty, staff and alumni. All discussion participants will receive (1) CEO LEAD credit towards certification. This month, we’ll be discussing the 1st chapter of Simon Sinek’s book Start With Why. “There are leaders and there are those who lead. Leaders hold a position of power or influence ... whether individuals or organizations, we follow those who lead not because we have to, but because we want to." Simon Sinek, in the introductory chapter of his inspirational book Start With Why, compares successful leaders with those who made an attempt but were not as successful. Join us for some pizza and great conversation, as we discuss what differentiates great leaders from those that are simply at the top of their industry: WHY they do what they do, WHY they feel motivated, and WHY they inspire those around them.
