Adjunct professor Matthew Ross Smith will host a “Wisdom Workshop” at Drexel to introduce his Spaces Between Your Fingers Project and invite the community to participate.

 

The Spaces Between Your Fingers Project is a new community art initiative to share wisdom between generations and raise awareness of Alzheimer’s disease. The project offers people a chance to reflect, create and connect by tracing their handprint onto a postcard and inscribing a single piece of advice in the spaces between their fingers. The postcards are archived into a digital “Wisdom Library,” creating a rich mosaic of what it’s like to be human. Join us on June 1 as we celebrate the wisdom of our community and create postcards to be shared with future generations. Bring your photographs and memories and connect the old-fashioned way – in the same room.
