Mega-Bad Movie Night: Night of the Lepus
Start Date: 6/27/2013Start Time: 6:30 PM
End Date: 6/27/2013End Time: 10:00 PM

Event Description

Join us at the Academy after hours to watch some “awesomely awful” movies. The Academy's own experts will be onstage to comment on the many scientific absurdities—think Mystery Science Theater 3000!

In this installment, we'll be showing Night of the Lepus.
Buy your tickets here.

In addition to the movie, Mega-Bad Movie Nights include cash bar and snacks, a sampling of the Academy's specimens, live animals, and the opportunity to wander among the exhibits including Butterflies!

On stage commentators for June 27:

  • Paul Callomon - Malacologist (seashell studying) British man famed for his opening remarks
  • Ms. Teri Scott - snarky woman pulled from her real job as Marketing Manager
  • Mark Sabaj-Perez - Icthyologist (fish expert) you may remember from Mega-Piranha in 2011
Mega-Bad gets Mega-Better in 2013!
You asked and we listened! Our drink menu has just significantly expanded to include several beer selections and wine!  Starting with the February Mega-Bad Movie, you can purchase drinks you want and still enjoy the snacks we provide!

You must be 18+ years of age to attend these events (and 21+ to drink).
