Event Description
Join Drexel University Libraries for 3D at Drexel: Imaging, Designing and Printing, the first in a series of events to help demystify creating and thinking with three-dimensional information. The Libraries invites any campus faculty, staff or students to become familiar with some of the issues surrounding this increasingly popular format and to experience 3D printing for class assignments or problem solving.

• Genevieve Dion, Assistant Professor, Director, Shima Seiki Haute Technology Laboratory at Drexel University, Westphal College of Media Arts & Design
The event will also feature a demonstration from the Libraries new Makerbot 3D printer and various examples of printed work. A light lunch and beverages will be provided.
This is the first of a series of discussions. The 3D at Drexel initiative will engage experts, information savvy librarians and research activities around campus to explore this media and help foster core information skills among students.
