Event Description

Want to spend the day just as a paleontologist would? Don your hat and boots and join Ned Gilmore, the Academy’s vertebrate paleontology collection manager, at a site well known for the abundance of Cretaceous period fossils.

Be prepared to get wet and dirty as you search for and identify fascinating fossils. You’ll even get to keep what you find! (Scientifically significant specimens may be retained for the Academy’s collections.)

$35 members, $40 nonmembers
Maximum 20 particpants
Teachers can earn 4 ACT 48 credits
