Event Description
In celebration of the 75th anniversary of the writing of the Drexel
Fight Song, we are inviting you to show your Dragon spirit by submitting
a video of you, your friends or your student organization singing the
Drexel Fight Song.
Be as creative as possible. Sing it, play it on an instrument or
create your own animated Drexel Dragons to perform it. Find a fun and
unique location to film your video - around Philadelphia, at home over
the holidays, at your co-op or even on your study abroad. Fill your
video with as much blue and gold spirit as possible. Videos may include
the prerecorded instrumental music of the fight songs.
All video finalists will be included on a play list featured on the
Drexel Student Affairs YouTube page. Placements will be determined in
each of the following categories and prizes will be awarded to the top
video in each category. The overall best video will be featured on the
Drexel Homecoming website.
- Recognized Student Organization - A first place prize of $750 will be deposited into the organization's 71-account
- Non-student Organization (Individuals or groups that are
not recognized student organizations) - A first place prize of at least
$750 will be awarded to the individual or group
- Alumni - A first place prize of TBD amount will be awarded to the individual or group
