Event Description

Join the Mayor's Office of Sustainability as it shares its newly released Greenworks Annual Report and provides an update on progress to date across the plan's 15 targets.

Representatives from the Mayor's Office of Sustainability will provide a detailed update several parts of the plan and present data and trends tied to key metrics, including greenhouse gas emissions and energy use. Sarah Wu, who coordinates the City's climate planning effort, will brief us on the downscaled climate science projections for Philadelphia. She will also provide an overview of the City's current work to understand what climate change will mean for Philadelphia and what we can do to prepare. Greenworks is an ambitious plan that sets 15 sustainability targets in the areas of energy, environment, equity, economy, and engagement to make Philadelphia the greenest city in America by 2015.

This program is free, but registration is requested. Please bring your questions for the presenters.
