Celebrate the last day of classes and join informal cross-disciplinary conversations with Drexel faculty and professional staff over drinks and refreshments at this quarter's ScholarSip event.
Jennifer Nasser, PhD, RN, associate professor at the College
of Nursing and Health Professions will provide the evenings food for thought
presentation. Nasser’s research focuses on food intake and dopamine. Recently,
she was a guest on the Rachel Ray show for a segment titled Your Brain on
Broccoli where she talked about how the human brain reacts to different types of foods.
Nasser’s
clinical research focuses on dopamine-mediated mechanisms of food intake
regulation in humans and its impact on metabolic homeostasis, especially as it
applies to obesity, eating disorders and aging.
