Event Description
This symposium is designed to provide gastroenterologists, primary care physicians, NPs, PAs, and nurses who are involved in the management of liver patients with the most up-to-date information about the diagnosis, management and treatment options for complex liver disease, as presented at the recent DDW & EASL meetings.
After attending this program, the participant will be able to:
- Discuss guidelines for the diagnosis and management of
hepatitis B and C virus infection as presented at the
gastroenterology and hepatology meetings.

Recognize new information on management of the most
common complications of liver failure (ascites, infection,
renal dysfunction) from the 2016 national and international
conferences.

Identify new treatments and management of
decompensated liver failure and NASH.

Manage and plan the treatment of hepatocellular
carcinoma according to the most recent information
presented at the liver conferences.
