“Building a Foundation for a Successful Career” Joan Kaminski will discuss her career history and skill set that has helped her gain success, including the ability to lead and influence without direct authority, collaboration and networking, respectful and constructive mentoring, and the ability to explain complex technical subjects to senior management. She will explain the importance of being flexible in your career and the ability to handle change. Additionally, she will share her perspective of being a female in R&D in one of the largest corporations in the world both in the present and when there were very few female scientists and engineers in the workplace. |
