Maintain Don't Gain

Event Description
A Healthier U and the Drexel Recreation Center are sponsoring “Maintain Don’t Gain,” a six-week health improvement challenge program that encourages employees to maintain or lose weight through nutrition and fitness. Each participant will weigh-in at the beginning of the program and weigh-out at the end. The staff at Recreational Athletics will track each participant’s weight at the beginning and again at the conclusion of the program.

Weigh-ins will be conducted in a private room at the Recreation Center (33rd and Market Streets) Monday, November 19 through Wednesday, November 21, 2011. Weigh-ins will occur 8-9am and 11am-2pm Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday and 5-6pm Monday and Tuesday. Tell the Welcome Center Desk Staff that you want to participate in Maintain Don’t Gain.

At the conclusion of the program, a follow-up weigh-out will be conducted by Recreation Center staff Thursday, January 3, Friday January 4, and Monday January 7 from 8-9am, 11am-2pm, and 5-6pm each day. Participants who remain within two pounds of their starting weight will receive a Healthier U lunch cooler as an added incentive.

This event is open to all Drexel University faculty and professional staff.
