Trial by Combat Competition

Event Description
The Kline School of Law will host the inaugural Trial by Combat competition, the first one-on-one mock trial national championship. The winner will be crowned the best college competitor in the country.
 
The competition will unfold over two days. Competitors will receive the case on the morning of Friday June 22 and have 24 hours to prepare. There will be three rounds of trial on Saturday and one on Sunday. The top two competitors will advance to the Championship Trial, which will be live-streamed Sunday afternoon.
 
Applications for 2018 are closed. Competitors selected for the inaugural contest represent the following universities:
