Tuesday, June 25, 2019
6:00 – 8:00pm
The Frick Pittsburgh

*Vision 2020 Pennsylvania Delegates are collaborating with The Frick Pittsburgh on a panel discussion to recognize the suffragists who fought for women’s right to vote, urge women to shape the future by exercising their right to vote, learn about Vision 2020’s Women 100 and the City of Pittsburgh’s Gender Equity Commission (GEC), and understand how supporting women and girls can help create a more successful and equitable environment for all citizens.

This discussion will also commemorate the 100th anniversary of the date that Pennsylvania voted in favor of ratification of the 19th Amendment (June 24, 1919). Pennsylvania was the seventh state in the country to support the 19th Amendment, 14 months before it passed at the federal level and was signed into law nationwide on August 26, 1920.
