Please do join us to learn about the Research Facilities planning process that Drexel will use to inform development of the Innovation Neighborhood. Todd Sloane and Jim Collins from Payette will discuss more about Drexel's needs, walk through one of the first buildings to be renovated – 3101 Market, and share their insights on research facilities planning with Drexel faculty, students and administrators.
The University has entered into a partnership with Payette, a Boston-based architectural firm skilled in all scales of research facility design, ranging from master planning a large campus district to the precise insertion of a small building addition. With clients throughout the country and around the world – Payette has worked with the Aga Khan University, Boston College, Carnegie Mellon University, Cornell University, Duke University, Harvard University, Johns Hopkins University, National Univ. of Ireland, Galway, Princeton University, Skolkovo Innovation Center, University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and Yale University to name but a few - Payette’s academic research buildings are charged with the dual duty of advancing knowledge by creating vital, innovative environments for teaching and research, while at the same time enhancing the academic campus experience.
