Interested in undergraduate research? Apply for the STAR Scholars Program!
The STAR (Students Tackling Advanced Research) Scholars Program is an opportunity for high-achieving first-year students to conduct faculty-mentored research during the summer between freshman and sophomore years.
To be eligible to apply, students must:
- Be freshmen
- Have a minimum cumulative 3.2 GPA for Fall Term, with strong preference given to students with a 3.6+ cumulative GPA
- Be able to commit 400 hours over 10 weeks of summer term to conduct research, scholarship, or creative work
