Event Description
This is the third workshop in a series of four workshops offered
by the Hagerty Library staff to prepare students to learn and hone
research-related skills.
This workshop will ask students to consider contexts other than the academic context in which research exists and how researchers share information. We will also begin to think about how to communicate research to others.
At the end of the workshop, students will be able to:
- discuss the range of scholarly communication in order to identify alternative means to find information to aid research
- identify principles of visual communication in order to create effective means to communicate information to others
