Event Description
This is the fourth workshop in a series of four workshops offered
by the Hagerty Library staff to prepare students to learn and hone
research-related skills.
This workshop will ask students to think specifically about the various ways in which scholars and researchers convey their ideas to the wider scholarly community and when/how those methods of communicating are most effective. This will tie in to both the poster design workshop and the abstract writing workshop (scheduled for later in the term).
At the end of the workshop, students will be able to:
- think through the benefits of various methods of presenting scholarly work
- identify aspects of their own work that can be highlighted or downplayed via various forms of communication
