Event Description
Drexel University offers the 16-hour National Restaurant Association ServSafe program, which includes eight hours of classroom time and eight hours of home study. The course is recognized locally and nationally by the food safety training industry. Appropriate training is the best vehicle for all food service personnel—especially managers, supervisors, and owners—to learn about the hazards associated with day-to-day operations and the food preparation process. It is imperative for management to incorporate good sanitation practices into their operation by supporting employee training and education.

Cost of textbook is included in course fee. Books are to be picked up at 101 N. 33 St. Suite 110, Philadelphia, PA 19104, Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 AM and 3 PM. The city requires 16 hours of instruction; Because this is an 8-hour course, please make sure to pick up your book with adequate time to study.
