Event Description
Drexel University offers the 16-hour National Restaurant Association ServSafe
program, which includes eight hours of classroom time and eight hours of home
study. The course is recognized locally and nationally by the food safety
training industry. Appropriate training is the best vehicle for all food service
personnel—especially managers, supervisors, and owners—to learn about the
hazards associated with day-to-day operations and the food preparation process.
It is imperative for management to incorporate good sanitation practices into
their operation by supporting employee training and education.

Cost: $195.00
Instructor: Rosemary Trout and Chris Koch
Cost of textbook is included in course fee. Books are to be picked up at
101 N. 33 St. Suite 110, Philadelphia, PA 19104, Monday through Friday between
the hours of 9 AM and 3 PM. The city requires 16 hours of instruction; Because
this is an 8-hour course, please make sure to pick up your book with adequate
time to study.
Please note that it is required by law that the name on your ServSafe license
matches the name on your driver's license or any other form of
identification.
Re-Test:
For those who need to retake exam, the option is available to either repeat the whole class and reviewing the exam material prior to retaking the exam or reporting at 2pm on the day of the class to retake the exam only. Exam sheets can be purchased through the registration link or by picking up the exam sheet at 101 N. 33rd St, Suite 110.
