Event Description

For one day only, meet and thank the brave men and women of the Police and Fire Departments and the Office of Emergency Management while exploring the Academy.

On Wednesday, August 6, from 10 a.m.–2 p.m., the Philadelphia Police Department, Philadelphia Fire Department, and Office of Emergency Management have a special day of activities and presentations planned for the public. Get fire prevention information, learn emergency preparedness, and hear from Homeland Security, the Police Canine Unit, the Highway and Mounted Patrol, McGruff the Crime Dog, and the OEM mascot, Wally, the shelter-in-place turtle.
