Event Description

Join us August 24-28 for an exciting week of Academy Explorers Summer Camp.

This week's theme is Animal Grossology. Get a closer look at animals and the disgusting things they do. Learn how puke, poop, and pellets can be fun, funky, and fascinating.

  • FIELD TRIP:Discover how “gross” becomes “awesome” by taking a hay ride around a local farm, meeting farm animals, going berry picking, and letting loose at the farm playground.
  • Dissect a pellet from an Academy owl to determine its diet.
  • Uncover the power of poop in an exciting animal matching game.
  • Learn how to eat like a fly during a fun, hands-on activity.
