Event Description Drexel University Emergency Medical Services is providing CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) training. Only one 4 hour class is needed to obtain a BLS (Basic Life Support) CPR certification. This certification is required for some majors in Drexel University's College of Nursing & Health Professions.
Drexel EMS seeks to assist Drexel in receiving “HEART Safe Campus” status, an accreditation awarded by the National Collegiate Emergency Medical Services Foundation (NCEMSF) by educating the Drexel Community about cardiac emergencies and heart health.
Class Information:
Who: Members of Drexel EMS who are certified BLS (Basic Life Support) CPR instructors will be leading the class
What: BLS CPR Certification (Required for some CNHP majors & a pre-requisite for the EMT course)
When: Next Class: Saturday, August 8th from 12 pm - 4 pm
Where: Drexel University DAC Media Room
Cost: $65.00 for Drexel Students $75.00 for General Public
