At the conclusion of the activity, participants should be able to:

  • Discuss alternative therapeutic strategies for the treatment of stroke
  • Examine mechanism by which ischemic strokeinduced TXNIP causes neuronal injury
  • Describe role of TXNIP in ischemia/reperfusion injury in hyperglycemic stroke
