Event Description
We will explore the many ways race and racism shows up in our lives and the impact racial trauma can have on individuals, families and communities across generations. A mindful and embodied lens will be used to identify self-care strategies for people of color as well as white allies that promotes healing, truth and compassion.

About the Presenter
Dr. Nathalie Edmond is a licensed clinical psychologist and experienced yoga teacher. She has been in the therapy world for twenty years. Dr. Edmond specializes in the treatment of trauma from a mind-body-spirit approach. She infuses mindfulness into her personal and professional life. Social justice is centered in her work. She has a variety of trainings on diversity and inclusion and developing an anti-racist identity. She enjoys bringing a mindful and compassionate approach to difficult conversations to help everyone awaken and be free.
