Event Description
Every year, the Academy treats its members to a special evening during which they can meet our staff, see our collections, and experience the breadth and depth of work that takes place behind the scenes at the museum.
Talk with scientists. See treasures from the collections. And take a hands-on approach to science.
From returning favorites such as “Dusting the Dinosaurs,” to new activities like packing for an expedition, there is sure to be something for everyone at this year's Members' Night!
Some of the 2013 highlights include:
- Get a rare peek into the Academy's famous Mineral Vault
- Learn how to protect your own fossil
- Experience what it's like to search for fossils in the Canadian Arctic
- Paint a mini dinosaur skull
